What are the three different confirmations generated when using Expedia Affiliate Network Integrator

When you create a booking with our Expedia Affiliate Network Integrator there are several confirmations generated once a booking has been confirmed.

 

Confirmation at end of booking process

When a booking has been successfully created, the Expedia Affiliate Network Integrator presents the final confirmation screen, such as

The contents of this screen (the section shown with a white background) is customisable to your agencies needs. Whilst there are some basic requirements by EAN in regards to essential information that must be displayed, the layout, colours, fonts, logos etc can be changed to suit your individual requirements.

At the bottom of this page there is the option to Send this confirmation by email, or to copy the contents onto your Clipboard so you can paste it into an existing email, word document etc.

Note: The 'Send' button will only be enabled if your agency has provided us with the relevant internal Email credentials that will allow our software to send emails on your behalf.

 

Booking Confirmation from EAN

EAN automatically sends a confirmation to the email address used when creating the booking, for example

The email from EAN is HTML based and has the following layout (and is not customisable):

This email is sent directly from the EAN system using their own email servers. If there are any problems with this particular email, please contact your EAN account manager.

Note: Depending on your configuration, the above email may NOT be sent for any Package Rate bookings you create. This is because the pricing information is displayed, which is not permitted when using Package Rates.

 

Accounts Email

The final email confirmation sent is a plain text accounting record that is sent to the email address registered against the EAN CID's. This email has the following layout (and is not customisable):

This email is sent directly from the EAN system using their own email servers. If there are any problems with this particular email, please contact your EAN account manager.
