NavAgent Release Notes

v1.0.14 - Released 19 May 2023

This release contains small internal changes to align NavAgent with our other software releases and updates including the use of our new WebApi web services infrastructure. This version also makes the solution available to our Beta Program participants.

v1.0.13 - Released 27 Sep 2022

This release introduces the following changes logic for ETickets to allow the system to better filter out upcoming bookings where the ticket hasn't been used yet plus some other minor bug fixes.

v1.0.12 - Released 4 Aug 2022

This release addresses an issue when using Surnames or First Name with spaces not always being recognised by the NavAgent system.

v1.0.11 - Released 27 Jul 2022

This release includes the following enhancements and bug fixes

• Introduces a new Tools Menu item that allows users to 'Reset' the NavAgent screen position back to their main computer screen

• Reworked the Unused Eticket function to ensure additional unused ETickets including those marked with the CVID status are now visible on the NavAgent screen
• Grouping and Filtering of the ETickets has been improved to better handle multiple ETicket coupon updates registered within the Agentivity system
• The Unused ETicket section is now configured to be a follow on request, where the user can click the + button to retrieve this information when required

• Renamed the main 'Refresh' button to be PNR SYNC to better reflect its functionality, and to reduce confusion with the Refresh button in the Consultant Workload section
• Addresses an issue on startup with older versions of Smartpoint when certain other plugs ins are installed
• Introduced a mechanism that allows NavAgent to be configured with a delayed start, or be started manually
• Addressed an issue where system resources were not always released when closing a Details or Ticket display window
• Incorporated the latest enhancements to the Agentivity API response models

These releases were for customer specific testing requirements

v1.0.8 - Released 17 May 2022

This release adds the follow new enhancements

Bookings Per Account - when selecting the matching Passenger, the system will now list how many bookings are against each account associated with the Passenger Name

Top Departure Airports - the system now shows a list of top Departure Airports for the Traveller within the Traveller Summary section

Carbon Emissions - the CO2 Tonnes (and Kgs) is now displayed on

• PNR Summary - the CO2 for the specific PNR being worked on 
• Corporate Summary - the CO2 for the whole Corporate Acct across all bookings/travellers 
• PNR Details - the CO2 for a PNR after selecting a Record Locator to open within NavAgent

Consultant Workload - there are 3 new 'follow on' transactions available in the Consultant Workload area, to access them click the + icon on the required heading.

• Active Unsold Air Bookings - this area shows any Active bookings that are yet to be ticketed 
• Missed Hotel Opportunities - this area displays any bookings where at least 1 overnight is involved however no Hotel segment is present 
• Upcoming Departures - this section contains any bookings due for departure over the next few days (configurable)

This release addresses a small issue when using 'Leave Cover' functionality for Apollo users.

v1.0.6 - Released 23 Mar 2022

This release introduces an entirely new Consultant Workload section (to replace the Consultant Focus area) and includes a few bug fixes

• Fixed an issue where the system doesn't respond correctly when a communications error has occured
• Changed the logging system to ensure only NavAgent items are logged
• The 'PNR' display has been enhanced to include a new 'PNR Warnings' tab to show any associated warnings against the PNR being viewed

Introducing 'Consultant Workload'

Consultant Workload is a complete re-engineering of the previous Consultant Focus section of the NavAgent interface. Whilst retaining the 'Segments Needing Action' and 'To Be Ticketed' areas, this update introduces a new 'PNR Warnings' list to better target the bookings your consultants should be working on. 

The 'To Be Ticketed' section has also been reworked to now group all Airline Ticketing Due information per Record Locator.  The screen also allows consultants to quickly view the Original Ticketing Remarks from the Airline by using the 'Tooltip' in the 'RMK' column,

The 'PNR Warnings' section lists any bookings that contain important warnings that need to be checked and actioned.  The Agentivity system monitors these warnings over time so you are also sure the very latest details are made available in NavAgent.

Over the coming months we will be adding more features to the 'Consultant Workload' area that will enable your users to access important information such as

• Updated some transactions on Agentivity API for retrieval of ETicket information based on Passenger GUID rather than Account Code
• Introduced filtering on Passenger Name lookup so they are more relevant to what has been entered into the GDS
• Updated to latest WebView2 version for latest improvements from Microsoft
• Introduced Leave Cover functionality to the Consultant Focus section, see below

Introducing 'Leave Cover'

With this enhancement, Agencies can configure their users to cover bookings for other users whilst they are on leave.  Once this is completed in the Agentivity system, NavAgent will display a drop down list of names being covered by the currently signed in user.  This user can then choose to switch to view their colleagues bookings in the Consultant Focus section

After our very successful NavAgent BETA testing program, Navitas Solutions has released v1.0.0 to the market with the following enhancements and fixes

• Migrated to work with new WebView2 Browser component by Microsoft
• Reworked PNR Summary section of the templates to better reflect relevant data coming back from the API for all users
• Migrated to use Serilog for all logging activity to enhance details added to the log, ensure log files are auto deleted after 30 days and ensure log file is stored in users folder within Citrix/TS environments
• A small delay (configurable) has been added to the initial 'user reaction' code to ensure the system is not processing during Queue Navigation process (i.e. multiple Ignore entries before arriving on the required PNR etc)
• Revision and update of comms layer to ensure Asynchronous processing throughout
