For agencies that have access to multiple connections within Travelport Smartpoint, our solutions need be aware which connection is currently in use by the consultant. The Navitas Smartpoint Connector is a simple plugin that keep track of the connection in use, regardless of how the user switched to the new connection.
To Install:
- Download the DLL file provided below (this will download to your browsers Download directory)
- if your Browser prompts you that the DLL is 'Dangerous', select to Keep the download
- If the file get renamed anything other than "0010.01.NavitasSmartPointConnector.dll" then please rename it back to this exact filename
- if your Browser prompts you that the DLL is 'Dangerous', select to Keep the download
- The DLL will need to be marked as 'Safe' - so find the DLL in the browsers download folder and right click on it and select 'Properties' from the menu that appears.
- If the 'Unblock' check box is shown on the Properties window, select this box and click OK
- Copy the DLL into the Smartpoint directory
- NB: only use this specific directory - C:\Program Files (x86)\Travelport\Smartpoint
- Open Smartpoint
- Make the following entry in the Smartpoint window #DELETEPLUGINCACHE and press enter. Smartpoint should respond with 'Plugins Cache file deleted'
- Make the following entry in the Smartpoint window to restart the system #RESTART
This will reload Smartpoint and load in the new plugin and our products will start to work correctly.
PLEASE NOTE:
- If your Agency uses Navitas PNR Watcher v3.x then you do NOT need this connector as the functionality is built into PNR Watcher Plugin
- This plugin is only for use with Smartpoint 5.0 and above.
- This plugin should only be deployed for users who have multiple connections configured in the Galileo TCP/IP Control Panel applet - it is not used for any other users
- For agencies using Citrix or Terminal Services environments, each user may need to follow steps 2, 3 and 4 individually for their own cache to be cleared (one copy of the DLL is required on each server)
