Many of our customers have the Navitas Solutions tools 'pinned' to their Windows Taskbar, such as the below example (the last three icons) :-
In some cases these 'pinned' shortcut have been configured incorrectly and are stuck launching older versions of our software. To check if this is the case you can right click on the icon and right click on the application name and select 'Properties' from the menu that appears
If the 'Type Of file:' entry is anything other than Application Reference (.appref-ms), as shown below, then it is highly like your 'pinned' application needs to be fixed.
To Fix an incorrectly saved Taskbar pin:-
1. Right click on the Icon, and select 'Unpin from taskbar' from the small menu that appears
2. In the windows Start menu, do a search for the application you are working on, for example Decoder Suite
3. Right click on the icon in the Start Menu, and select 'Pin to Taskbar'
This will add the icon back onto the Taskbar with the correct details. Repeat this for any icons you have that need to be fixed.
